What NOT to Do:

• Do not engage: Never like, share, comment on, or watch the videos fully. Engagement feeds the algorithm and gives abusers more money and reach.
• Do not share the link publicly: Avoid posting links or tags that send traffic to the abuser’s profile.

How to Report the Account and Posts:

Report to the platform — every platform has this automatic option:

1. Do not write long text messages: Platforms use specific reporting dropdown menus rather than open support emails for swift removal.
2. Instagram: Go to the profile or post, tap the three dots (...), select Report, choose Something about this account or Violent or dangerous organizations, and pick Animal abuse.
3. TikTok: Press and hold the video or go to the profile, tap Report, and choose the category matching Animal cruelty.
4. Facebook: Click the three dots (...) in the upper right of the post or profile, click Report post/profile, select Violence, and choose Animal Abuse.

• Copy the URL of the offending profile or post

• Where they ask you to add the link — if you don’t have the link — you can write account name or account ID or account tag, for example, “Account name: XYZ”

• For cat/dog torture select “Crush content” or “Causing/prolonging death”, or whatever is applicable, in the given categories.
